Terms & Conditions

General information

The products are sold by Papu Design Oy (2622278-7). We sell products to private individuals of legal age in Finland and worldwide. All prices include VAT in the EU. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs.

 

Ordering

The products are ordered primarily from www.us.papustories.com via the shopping cart. Orders are delivered to non-European countries. Orders are delivered with the delivery term DDP and the prices include all applicable import duties and taxes. 

All orders are confirmed by email and include the total price of the order, shipping costs and products ordered. To receive an order confirmation, a correct email address should be provided when ordering.

The customer agrees to the terms and conditions when placing an order.

 

Order confirmation

For all orders placed at us.papustories.com Papu Design will send an order confirmation email which provides:

  • the reference number/ order number
  • the contact information you have provided
  • ordered products and quantities
  • the payment method of your choice

Papu Design reserves the right to cancel an order placed by the Customer if a significant mistake is made in the pricing of the product. A mistake like this would be a significant difference to the normal price or the market price of the product, and an average customer could understand that there is a mistake in the price. An example of this would be for example if the price of an item is 0,00 USD.

 

Payment methods

The products/services and applicable shipping fees will be paid when placing the order. The following payment methods are accepted: credit/debit cards and PayPal payments. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal.

Stripe (www.stripe.com)

Payment service provider

Stripe offers credit/debit card payments as a third-party payment provider. By selecting these payment options you give consent to Stripe to charge your card on behalf of Papu Design Oy to pay for and complete your order. When ordering from our online store the payments are always one-time payments (we do not provide any subscriptions that would repeat charges on your credit card). The amount charged is determined by the order total value.

PayPal (www.paypal.com)

Payment service provider

PayPal offers payments as a third-party payment provider. By selecting the PayPal payment option you give consent to PayPal to charge your PayPal account on behalf of Papu Design Oy to pay for and complete your order. When ordering from our online store the payments are always one-time payments (we do not provide any subscriptions that would repeat charges on your credit card). The amount charged is determined by the order total value.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery time

The delivery time is a maximum of 10 business days worldwide when products are in stock. Shipping delays, weekends and holidays may affect delivery time.

The orders are delivered using DHL Express carrier services. 

 

 

Shipping costs

Shipping costs include the cost of shipping & packaging and orders made at us.papustories.com are delivered with the delivery term DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

Shipment tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking code for your package so that you can check the shipping status of your package.

 

Return and exchange policy

 

If all products from the original order are returned, the original shipping fee will also be returned. If the return does not include all products of the original order, the shipping fee will not be returned. The return fee of 20 USD is deducted from all returns regardless if the entire order is returned, or individual items of the order.

It is the customers obligation to make sure to pick up the package on time so that it is not returned to us. If a parcel is not picked up from the pick-up point the parcel will be returned to us and a refund of the order will be made and a fee of 10 USD is deducted from the refund amount. Returned parcels will not be re-shipped.

In case the return shipment is lost during transportation, keep the receipt of the return shipment until you have received the refund. If a parcel is lost during transportation, and the customer cannot deliver proof of the shipment Papu Design Oy is not obligated to make the refund of the items that have not been returned. 

 

Notice! If you have purchased items with a discount where the price of an item is reduced (For example: buy 2 get 3) in case of a return the discount is cancelled and the original price of the item with a reduced price is applied and will affect the refunded amount. For example: If you would like to return 2/3 of the items from a buy 2 get 3 order, the original price of the free item is reduced from the refund. 

 

Return policy outside of Finland:

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of Finland, you have the right to return an item within 14 days of receiving your order. The return right applies only to items that are in new, unused condition and in their original packaging. Exchanges are not accepted.

Before the return shipment send a return notification to customerservice@papustories.com by email. Please fill in and include the return form to your package. Keep the receipt of the return shipment until the refund is completed.

We will not accept returns after 14 business days. When the return is received and accepted, a refund will be made to the original payment method. The time for processing a return may take up to 10-15 working days.

If all products from the original order are returned, the original shipping fee will also be returned. If the return does not include all products of the original order, the shipping fee will not be returned.

In case the return shipment is lost during transportation, keep the receipt of the return shipment until you have received the refund. If a parcel is lost during transportation, and the customer cannot deliver proof of the shipment Papu Design Oy is not obligated to make the refund of the items that have not been returned. 

 

Outside of Europe

If you want to return an item/items from your order, please send a notification of return to our Customer Service team (customerservice@papustories.com). Include your name, order number (PAPU#XXXX) and phone number and which items you want to return in the return notification. Once we have received the notification, we will send you the return shipping label and instructions by email. The cost of the return is 20 USD which will be deducted from the refund. You will also receive the instructions for returns along with your order. 

  

Delivery problems and faulty products 

Should you not receive your package or if an item was damaged in transport or if the item ordered is faulty, contact us immediately by email customerservice@papustories.com. If the package was damaged in transport, a claim must also be made with the shipping company.

Notifications of faulty items must be made within 14 business days of receiving your order. 

 

Other

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions. Customers should familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions before placing an order. 

Papu Design Oy handles all customer information confidentially and does not disclose customer information to unnecessary third parties. If customer information is forwarded to a third party, it is according to the terms above, for example to the payment providers.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish law.

 

Force Majeure:

Papu Design shall not be liable to the Customer for not fulfilling the Terms due to causes which are beyond the control of Papu Design, (such as war, acts of government, strikes, natural disasters or other causes of a similar nature) for the duration of such events. In these cases, the Customer shall not have a right for compensation from Papu Design for breach of contract.
